RAVASIO – Gerald “David” Ravasio, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 14, 2018. He was the loving husband of Janet (Bolduc) Ravasio for 56 years. Born August 26, 1937 in Meriden, CT; the son of the late Louis and Angeline (Maule) Ravasio.

Dave worked in the roofing industry his whole career. He was very active in his community and was a member of the Barkhamsted Senior Center and the Barkhamsted Historical Society. He was an avid gardener and bird lover. He also enjoyed woodworking, fixing furniture, and cutting his lawn on his John Deere.

In addition to his devoted wife, he leaves his daughter, Alison Lebel and husband David of Southington; brother, Rudolph Ravasio of Southington; sister, Norma Wood of Southington; grandchildren, Sierra Drevline and husband James Parkinson of Bristol and Kyle Drevline of Chicago; and great grandsons, Aaron and Myles Parkinson. He was predeceased by a son, Kenneth D. Ravasio and a sister, Doris Ravasio.

Friends may call on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Montano-Shea Funeral Home, New Hartford from 8:30 – 10:30 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at Immaculate Conception Church in New Hartford at 11 AM. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in the spring.
